Flower Status Report  Quick Status 2-3-2006

Here's a quick status from Friday, February 3, the day after Ground Hog Day.  The sun is out and it's a very bright day.  We started with a thin layer of ice on the windshield, but it melted fast.

The beds are coming through.  Some varieties are six inches higher, but others have yet to show their green tips..

This patch of daffodils is the first to bloom in any number.  There are a few hundred in bloom as of today.  Just a start.

This is the slope that will have thousands of blooms.  Nothing to see as of Ground Hog Day!
