Flower Status Report - Update 5-11-2006
To roses and azaleas!
With warmer weather, the roses, azaleas, wisteria, poppies, and many other flowers have come
out. The barrels are showing great daffodils and iris.

The weekend of Frog Jump is May 18 to 21 in Angels Camp. It's a great
county faire. Visit Frog Jump and come up to see Ironstone!
Tawny and Larry check some of the beds of flowers. They're planning for the next wave of color!
After the rains and, now, the heat, the grass grows fast. Time to give it a cut.
The chardonnay is showing growth with the buds readily visible. No bloom yet, but our neighbors
to the east have full bloom.
Sunny days mean time to work among the vines. Shoot pulling limits the amount
of growth on each vine so flavors are concentrated in the grapes.
